I've got a story entitled "Pandora's Other Box" in BITTEN, a new anthology of "dark erotic stories" just published by Chronicle Books. It's about a professor attending a folklore conference in an unnamed European city who wanders into a curiosity shop. If you're also the curious type, the anthology is in bookstores waiting for you.

Visiting the area around Les Eyzies in the Dordogne region of France it's possible to walk through a portal and arrive at a place where our ice age ancestors created drawings, engravings, and paintings on the walls of limestone caves. Here is the entrance to one such portal at the Grotte de Font de Gaume.
